Sally Mann
Sally Mann is an American photographer who caught my eye, mainly because of her unique way of portraying a strong narrative, instantly the use of black and white makes a statement because it detracts the colour making the viewer focus on the content of the image in more detail. In her collections there are various sexual references, especially in her collection "At Twelve" which highlights some young girls urges to grow up and also focuses on sexual relationships and isolation in a controversial way as they are slightly disturbing because they are so blunt.
