Building a character

 I was given the photo above as part of a task to illustrate and explain the story behind a specific character. I chose the woman in the centre at the back and named her Jill Matthews. Jill was born on October 3rd, 1874 and is currently 40 years old, she's lives alone as her husband disappeared in the first World War and she has no clue where he is or wether he is alive or dead. She lives alone in a church and preeches on a regular basis to local people from her hometown of cornwall. She eats cabbage soup because she can't afford many luxuries because most of her money is used to
look after her widowed mother who is in a wheel chair and needs full time care. She also has a brother but he is quite high up in a local cotton mill therefore he cannot be around to assist as much as he would like and her father has passed away three years ago from natural causes so she has to provide everything for herself with little help.
